the art of living well. the art of living consciously.
I have been a practising psychotherapist for over thirteen years and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP Membership Number 781368). Over time, the emphasis of my work gradually shifted beyond a purely clinical framework towards a broader, integrative perspective—one that now forms the foundation of our conscious reconnection. My therapeutic work was grounded in formal training in Transactional Analysis, and expanded through training in Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Polyvagal Theory and many other psychotherapeutic and neuroscience disciplines.
Alongside this clinical foundation, my practice has always been informed by a wider understanding of the human system. I am formally trained and qualified as an aromatherapist, reflexologist, reiki master teacher, and soul midwife, specialising in supporting people at the end of life.
As a soul midwife, I volunteered within a hospice setting, where I witnessed first-hand how death can become a powerful initiatory process—one that invites reflection, reconciliation, and deep connection when approached consciously and with care. These experiences continue to shape my work, grounding it in compassion, humility, and deep respect for the profound transitions we encounter as human beings.
Beyond formal qualifications, much of my learning has emerged through lived, embodied exploration. Over many years, I have independently studied and practised approaches that support a deeper understanding of the relationship between the body, mind, emotions, energy and soul experiences. This includes breath awareness, humming and vocal toning, sound and colour exploration, drumming, singing, visualisation, contemplative and mindfulness practices, somatic movement, ecstatic dance, 5Rhythms, elements of shamanic practice, neuroscience, and the philosophy of yoga.
This embodied understanding is further informed by my training as an inner dance facilitator and my experience with constellation work. inner dance is a guided, music-led, somatic practice that supports access to intuitive movement, altered states of awareness, and the body’s innate capacity for self-regulation and integration. Constellation work reveals how unseen dynamics, inherited patterns, and ancestral themes can continue to shape our lives across generations and support us to consciously transform those patterns. Together, these approaches have deepened my understanding of how personal, relational, and collective patterns are held, expressed, and gently reorganised through awareness and embodied presence.
My work is also informed by foundational training in psychological astrology, which I approach not as a predictive tool, but as a symbolic and reflective framework. When used therapeutically, astrology can offer insight into repeating patterns, relational dynamics, and developmental themes—providing another language through which conscious awareness can emerge.
At the heart of my approach is contemplation. I work deeply with the Gene Keys and I am a Gene Keys Guide. The Gene Keys offer a contemplative wisdom system that supports the gentle unravelling of both personal and collective patterns. These teachings have profoundly shaped my own inner work and the evolution of my practice, and they continue to inform the foundations of our conscious reconnection. (www.genekeys.com)
I am deeply interested in the evolving fields of consciousness, quantum theory, and quantum biology—particularly in how developing conscious awareness allows us to live with greater intention, responsibility, and connection. My work explores how we reflect the natural world within us, how patterns repeat across body, psyche, relationships, and the environment, and how reconnecting with nature and community can support both personal healing and collective change. I am especially drawn to the points where emerging scientific understanding begins to echo lived experience, opening new ways to contemplate coherence, relationship, and pattern within living systems.
Our conscious reconnection has grown from this integrated body of experience. It is an invitation to slow down, sense more deeply, and explore how awareness itself can become a catalyst for transformation—across mind, body, energy, relationships, and the wider living systems we are part of.
